Our Story
Bayan Ko Diner is an independently owned Filipino | Cuban restaurant in Chicago founded by Chef Lawrence Letrero, who is Filipino & his partner Raquel Quadreny who is Cuban. Our menu is a combination of dishes from their heritage, inspiration from family recipes, and chef Lawrence's experience with contemporary American cooking. We are a welcoming & positive meeting space in our community where family and friends can gather and enjoy a delicious meal.
